An ancient postman is preparing to retire after delivering mail to Hunan Mountain. The tasks are slated to be assumed by his one son. As father and son travel through the mountains, the son appreciates the toil and weight his father bears when postman for the peasants, and the old postman is deeply moved as his son describes his mother's fear as she waits for him to return from every trip.
