Throughout his tumultuous young existence, Elijah has been shuffled from group home to group home. His art has kept him going. Elijah becomes involved in a brawl that results in the death of another boy after a promised scholarship is taken away. Now that he has been sentenced to a minimum of fifteen years in prison, the young guy must either find a method to keep his spirit alive or he will become a hardened bitter criminal.
