Although being the new kid in town attracts a unique problems trouble-making adolescent Jim Stark is assumed to have a fresh slate after moving into another town. Star K falls for local girl Judy, also creates a bond having a distressed classmate, Plato while searching for some equilibrium. But, Judy may be the girl friend Buzz, of local demanding. When Jim is violently confronted by Buzz and challenges him to a drag race, the kid troubles begin.
