Afraid rogue Harry Flashman's (Malcolm McDowell) plans to obtain entrance to the royal circles of 19th-century Europe go no place until he meets a set of untrustworthy nobles with their own agenda. At their prompting, Flashman accepts re-create himself as a phony Prussian nobleman to charm a beautiful lady. However the half-baked plan promptly comes unraveled, and he's quickly on the run from a number of new adversaries that are all calling for the rapscallion's head.
