Chosen for four Academy Honors including Ideal Supervisor, 7 Charms stars Giancarlo Giannini (Swept Away) as Pasqualino Frafuso, recognized in Naples as "Pasqualino 7 Beauties." A petty thief who lives off of the earnings of his seven siblings while declaring to safeguard their honor at any cost, Pasqualino is jailed for murder and later on sent to eliminate in the military after devoting sexual offense. The Germans capture him and he gets sent to a prisoner-of-war camp where he plots to make his retreat by attracting a German policeman.
