With outtakes from his movies comments from Hollywood stars and footage from his youth, this documentary looks at Stanley Kubrick's life and films. Director Jan Harlan, Kubrick's brotherinlaw and sometime collaborator, interviews heavy weights such as Jack Nicholson, Woody Allen and Sydney Pollack, that explain the influence of Kubrick classics such as"Dr. Strangelove" and"2001: A Space Odyssey," and how he absorbed visual clues from parasitic civilization like television advertisements.
