Disney musical about a widow Mother Carey along with her children who move to Maine. Post-master Osh Popham helps them fixes it up and move into a house. It isn't entirely uninhabited, though. The owner, a Mr. Hamilton, can be still a mystical personality off in Europe, however Osh assures he wont mind there, as he wont be coming home for a long time yet.
