Recently divorced career-woman Alex Greville begins an intimate relationship with glamorous mod performer Bob Elkin, fully conscious he's also involved with doctor Daniel Hirsh. For both Alex and Daniel, the younger man represents a break with their repressive pasts, and though both understand that Bob is visiting both of these, neither is willing to give up the youth and energy he attracts into their own stable lives.
