Marco, who is 12 years old, is enamored with his iPad and rarely leaves the house. Marco's life is turned upside-down when his grandma dies and his grandfather comes in, and he's forced...to go outside and play. "Nonno" (Grandpa) exposes him to bocce ball and the local Italian men's league. So Marco gathers a team of local youngsters to take on his grandfather and his friends with sport, humor, and love.
