Terry Lambert is currently sleeping with Sylvia, the boss' wife. One night, whilst in Terry's flat, Sylvia witnesses a man assault a young woman, Denise, to the road below. Not wanting to show her affair she keeps quiet. Terry steps attempting to help mimic the criminal. He never saw the suspect and, even the police begin to suspect his motives when his lies are detected.
