Sophie is snatched from her orphanage early 1 morning by the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), whom she witnesses participated in mysterious activities. She's soon put at ease, as she discovers that BFG's job is to get, catalogue and deliver fantasies. He is joined by her this night, however, a mean giants follow them.
