A favorite, this sci fi classic follows teen-agers Steve and his girl, Jane, while they attempt to guard their hometown out of the gelatinous alien life form that engulfs whatever it touches. The first live to tell the blob destroying an older individual and grow to a size that is terrifying and ever to detect the stuff. But no body has seen the goo, and Police Man Dave will not trust the kids without even proof.
