SUMMARY
British India, 1880. A half-caste officer, Robert Case, is wrongfully discharged from the British Army. He joins the onslaught of the Bengali tribesmen against the colonial enemy. They catch a foreign journalist, and Case describes his experience of being falsely accused by his commanding officers' intolerance and racism. Colonel Drewe, his accuser, brutally shoots Case after a successful British raid on the rebels. The journalist goes home determined to tell The Brigand of Kandahar's genuine story.
