A street wise kid, Mark Sway, sees Jerome Clifford, a Louisiana lawyer, whose current client is Barry' The Blade' Muldano, a Mafia hit-man's suicide. He tells Mark where the body of a Senator remains buried before Jerome shoots at himself. Clifford shoots himself and Mark can be found at the scene, and the FBI and the Mafia immediately realize that Mark knows.
