In Lille, two young women who are poor and don't have many options become friends. Isa moves in with Marie, who is flat-sitting for a mother and kid who are in a coma in the hospital after a car accident. Isa is friendly and doesn't have any skills. She wants to move south to warmer weather. Marie is usually either mad or not interested. Then, while Isa starts going to see the child whose apartment they live in and reading to her in the hospital, Marie slowly develops feelings for a rich young man. At first, Marie keeps him away. Then, she starts to chase after him and starts to dream that he is the love of her life. When Isa tries to tell Marie something, it hurts their friendship. How will Marie deal with what will happen? And where will they go after they lose the flat?
