Secretary Marilyn "Lynn" David falls in love with British aristocracy Charles Gray Granville, much to her closest friend, reporter Pete Dawes, who secretly loves her. Pete writes an essay on Lynn as "No Girl," who refused to marry a cruel nobleman, after learning that Gray has mistreated her. When Lynn becomes famous and Gray returns, she must choose between them.
