After kidnapping Elizabeth, the headstrong daughter of the Earl of Pembroke inadvertently, infamous highway robber Dick Turpin finds himself on the run in the rural areas of England. Elizabeth starts to develop feelings for the charming highwayman just as her fiance Winthroppe is getting closer and closer to finding them. This leaves Turpin with no alternative but to compete with Winthroppe in a battle for Elizabeth's affections and her riches.
