Dr. Janos Rukh finds a type of radium that seems to heal almost like magic. But the element is also dangerous, and Rukh has already started to feel its effects. As his paranoia gets worse, he starts to think that his wife is having an affair. Rukh comes up with a plan to kill people by using his own poisoned body as a weapon.
