After the dinosaur families become trapped in a valley by an ice storm, 1 group of"surge tail" dinosaurs volunteers to leave as they consume more food than the others. The young dinos and a new adult dinosaur called Mr. Thicknose, head outside to bring back their friend Spike, who's made his friends to be with members of their own species.
