In line with the story by Antoine deSaint-Exupery, this bewitching musical fable begins like a pilot (Richard Kiley) makes a forced landing the bare Sahara Desert. He is befriended by a"little" prince from Earth Asteroid B-612. In the days that followalong with the pilot learns about journeys by which he met a King, a business man, an historian, and a general and the boy foundation. It's not before he comes to Earth that the Little Prince learns the keys of the need for life out of the Fox (Gene Wilder), a Snake (Bob Fosse), and also the pilot.
