Jonas, a 40-year-old Parisian, is still in love with Léa. He goes to the café downstairs when she rejects his confession. Inspiration hits and he sits down to write her a long love letter, ignoring all he was expected to do that day. What starts as a desperate attempt to gain her back turns into a vivid reflection on his life. Jonas must confront his past relationships, his uncertain future, and himself over the course of a day with the help of a wisecracking bartender and neighborhood patrons.
