Dennis Barlow, a newcomer to Hollywood from England, must organize his uncle's burial at Whispering Glades. Aimee Thanatogenos, a cosmetician, catches his eye. But he has three problems: Blessed Reverend Glenworthy's rigorous restrictions, embalmer Mr. Joyboy's rivalry, and the embarrassment of working at The Happy Hunting Ground dogs' funeral home.
