The story concerns two grizzled mountain men -- Bill Tyler and Henry Frapp -- throughout the days of this fur-trapping era. The plot begins when Running Moon comes over both seedy fur trappers and runs off from her husband thick Eagle. The mountain men simply take her unaware that thick Eagle has got an army of braves to regain her.
