What happens when a screenwriter (Brooks) loses his edge, he turns to anyone he can for help... even when it's the mythical"Zeus's Daughter" (Stone). Albeit reluctantly, whatever price it takes to meet this goddess, especially when her information puts him moving again onto a script that is sure-fire and he is willing to pay for. But this is not the limit of her aid, but she also gets the writer's wife (MacDowell) moving on her own bakery venture, much to the chagrin of all Brooks, who has already had to make many personal sacrifices for his help.
