After World War I,'' Armistice Lloyd Hart goes back to clinic law saloon keeper George Hally turns to bootlegging, and Eddie Bartlett that is out of work becomes a cab driver. Eddie assembles a fleet of cabs through delivery of bootleg liquor and hi res Lloyd as his lawyer. George becomes the partner along with the rackets of Eddie thrive until rivalry and love intervene.
