This movie is based on two stories by the late Rod Serling, who wrote the stories for the original "The Twilight Zone" (1959) series. James Earl Jones is the host of this movie. In "The Theater," a young woman goes to a movie theater, only to find that her life story is on the screen. The Boston surgeon in "Where the Dead Are" is looking for a scientist who may have the answer to a medical mystery in 1868. He is looking for him in the book.
