Black marketeers Marko and Blacky manufacture and sell weapons into the resistance in WWII Belgrade, living the life that is good . Marko duplicity propels him the ranks of the Communist Party, and Blacky is eventually abandoned by him and loathed his girl friend. After a lengthy stay in a protector, the couple reemerges throughout the Yugoslavian Civil War of the 1990s since Marko realizes that the situation is ripe for manipulation.
