Young lawyer Tod Jackson gets here in leader Kansas to visit his prosperous rancher friends the Daltons, just as the last are in danger of losing their land to a jagged advancement firm. When Tod tries to help them, a fabricated murder cost turns the Daltons into hooligans, but a lot more victims than villains in this fictionalized version. Will Tod remain faithful to his friends despite loving Bob Dalton's previous fiancée Julie?
