The action takes place in Los Angeles, in the home of four housemates: three women, MJ, Frankie, and Amanda, and a gay male, Banks, who live together in a house with three other women. Affluence means everything to MJ, but other people are of little importance to her or her family. In addition to painting, Frankie is a social worker. It is sad that Banks is a part of this production. Problem is, Frankie is genuinely in love with Taylor, and he feels the same way about her, but he's having sexual relations with MJ for sex.
