The film follows Kitty, Anne Frank's imaginary friend. Kitty, a fiery girl, wakes up in Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam and sets out to find Anne, who she believes is still alive, in modern-day Europe. Along with modernity, the young girl discovers Anne's legacy.
