Based on a real story. The name of the ship, that sunk Feb 5 1941 - throughout WWII - had been S/S Politician. Outside Eriskay containing 250,000 bottles of whisky, having made Liverpool two days earlier, heading for Jamaica, it sank. The natives gathered as many bottles as they could came, every other year, and also today, bottles are located at the sand or in the sea.
