When the seasoned guide Vic simplifies the city-boy Alan along with his three friends on their first wilderness experience, he not only hope to teach the 4 boys courses about the wilderness, but about themselves. Vic compels them. After alienating the boys, in order to survive, Vic finds himself and has to rely upon his students.
