Blue is a teen who lives with her jazz musician father Ham. Ham becomes gravely ill and dies, leaving Blue to fend for herself. Elle, the headmistress of a brothel, convinces her to live and work there. She makes the decision to leave the company and live a normal life. Elle is determined that she never has one.
