As part of Their war effort, the United States Create army bases in the Uk during WWII. Towards their appropriate sensibilities, many of the Brits don't like the brash Yanks, especially when it has to do with the G.I.s making advances on the lonely British girls. One relationship that develops is between an Army Captain, John, and also the aristocratic Helen, whose husband is away at war. Helen loves her spouse, but John and Helen are all looking for some relaxation.
